Texture & Finish
Lightweight, semi-matte and untinted
Bonjour Soleil has a lightweight lotion texture that spreads easily with a natural semi-matte finish.
It is not a rich, oily sunscreen, and it is not a tinted coverage product. The finish is untinted, clean and naturally fitting, making it suitable for daily use and under makeup.
The formula contains no volatile alcohol and no traditional synthetic silicone. Instead, it uses plant-derived silky emollients and lightweight lipids to help the sunscreen glide more smoothly, with less stickiness, heaviness or pilling.
Slight mineral texture when first dispensed
Because Bonjour Soleil contains a high level of mineral UV filters, you may notice a slight mineral texture when the product is first dispensed. This is normal for a high-mineral sunscreen formula.
For the smoothest application, spread the sunscreen in circular motions on the back of your hand first. Within moments, the texture will soften and blend into a smoother lotion before you apply it to the face.
This helps the sunscreen film sit more evenly and reduces the chance of applying too much product in one thick layer.
Will it leave a white cast?
Bonjour Soleil uses powder dispersion and silica coating technology to help mineral UV filters spread more evenly and reduce the heavy, clumpy or visibly white finish often associated with traditional mineral sunscreens.
As it is a 100% mineral sunscreen, the final look may still vary depending on skin tone, application amount, skincare underneath and application method.
For a more natural finish, apply in two thin layers rather than one thick layer.

Use only a small amount of Miracle Serum before sunscreen. Too much oil may affect how well the sunscreen sits on the skin.
If you reapply sunscreen, sweat heavily or wear base makeup, cleanse thoroughly in the evening.
Testing & Quality
Bonjour Soleil’s final formula sample is supported by in-vitro sunscreen testing. It reaches SPF50+ PA++++ and meets EU broad-spectrum reference thresholds.
EU broad-spectrum reference thresholds include a UVA-PF / SPF ratio above 1/3 and a Critical Wavelength above 370nm.
The product has also passed SGS 18-month stability testing, PET preservative efficacy testing and heavy metal safety testing. Lead, arsenic, mercury and cadmium comply with relevant safety requirements.
These tests are used for product quality, safety and stability control. They do not indicate any medical effect.
